Well I started going out with Zach today. I was terrified right off the bat, but things are getting better. Talking to him straight up about how I feel has helped significantly. He has no more experience than I do and would prefer to take things slow, which is great and helps my nerves to ease a bit. I don't wanna be naive and automatically assume he's in it for love and get my heart set just to find out I was wrong, but he seems much different than the other guys I've dated or nearly dated. Other guys seemed to be in a big hurry (except Robert, my first b/f, but he didn't even seem all that interested for the longest time). He seems like he's serious and not looking to 'hit it and quit it'. He hasn't even talked about sex or even kissing. I like this. lol. Though, I am still scared b/c it's very different for me, but at least I know how to gain control of my fear a bit. Also, I'm not talking to my friends about it anymore because I've found it doesn't do me much good, even though I do very much appreciate the help from everyone. This involves me and him, so it's better if I talk to him about my feelings. I feel much better doing that.
